  LES NOUVELLES - 2026 JUNE (56) * * * (Affichages initialement faits sur Linked In et publiés ici ensuite, en date du dimanche 14 juin 2026.) *** Russia and China, despite their growing alignment with each other, and also with Iran, are still vying for influence in their immediate neighborhood, in North Korea, as shown in this interesting and revealing article in The Economist, but also in Afghanistan, in Mongolia, and among the eight ex-Soviet republics that are found across the mountainous South Caucasus area and the immensity of Central Asia.  Eurasian relations are not smooth and may be bumpy at times. The Eurasian Trilateral that is created by the political convergence of three major countries (Russia, China and Iran) will probably succeed in pushing the ineptly-led United States of Trumpia out of the Asiatic continent, but it doesn't mean the end of human history, Fukuyama-style.
