Comme dirait le général de Gaulle:  Vive la France, vive le Québec et vive le Canada libre... https://x.com/sarobertson_/status/2065784411086352840 This article, below, is an impressive analysis about the current situation in the Middle East. The Pentagram of Power probably overvalue the importance of Qatar, but the four other countries, that is to say, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Egypt, certainly have a crucial role to play in the events to come, independantly of what will happen with the negociations between Uran and the United States. The fate of the Near East, i.e. Israel, Syria and Lebanon, located at the crossroads of Asi...

(Articles publiés ces derniers jours, sur la platef-forme Linked In.) This interesting piece seems to be an answer to a provocative article that was published in a Hong Kong newspaper (the South China Morning Post) a few days ago, about China's plan for sinking America's carriers in the event of a war over Taiwan.  It looks like ballistic missiles are making today's aircraft carriers obsolete, just like planes made battleships obsolete a century ago, despite their thick armor and powerful guns.  In fact, these days, submarines may possibly be the naval plate-forms that are the most immune to the numerous threats that have become part of modern sea warfare. https://www.19fortyfive.com/2026/06/u-s-navy-aircraft-carriers-have-a-range-problem-it-may-not-be-able-to-fix-and-china-is-betting-everything-on-it/ Voici un article intéressant qui laisse songeur.

*** Russia and China, despite their growing alignment with each other, and also with Iran, are still vying for influence in their immediate neighborhood, in North Korea, as shown in this interesting and revealing article in The Economist, but also in Afghanistan, in Mongolia, and among the eight ex-Soviet republics that are found across the mountainous South Caucasus area and the immensity of Central Asia.  Eurasian relations are not smooth and may be bumpy at times. The Eurasian Trilateral that is created by the political convergence of three major countries (Russia, China and Iran) will probably succeed in pushing the ineptly-led United States of Trumpia out of the Asiatic continent, but it doesn't mean the end of human history, Fukuyama-style. Life will go on.  Will the United Arab Emirates be permitted to stay inside the BRICS...
