UKRAINE'S STALINGRAD MOMENT?

A remarkably frank assesment of Ukrainian weaknesses, amid slow Russian territorial gains in the East. The Pokrovsk salient seems about to collapse, which would liberate Russian forces and enable Moscow to apply even more pressure against the arc of fortress-cities in the Donetsk, and also in other areas of Eastern Ukraine, notably Sumy, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk. If so, the end of the war will be sooner than feared, reducing the bloodbill and opening the way for reconstruction. The countries of the European Union would then be able to stop to waste their money on a lost cause, and an unwinnable war, just to please NATO-friendly Anglosphere powers, like the US, the UK and Canada (more precisely the anglophone part of it). They may even start putting their money to more sensible uses, like:

1. improving their budgetary imbalance,
2. starting to decouple militarily from the US,
3. boosting trade, financial and economic links with China (and other Eurasian countries), and
4. investing in the long-term effort to assist in Africa's emergence, and benefit from it in the long-run, and also in the physical reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, reduced to a Lunar landscape by the Israeli-American Axis of death and destruction...

U.S. General Clark is talking like an unrepentant Cold Warrior and NATO die-hard, to-the-death admirer, unable to adapt to today's, multipolar and different world. Evil-Russia-is-a-threat. It must be atomized to smithereens! That will likely remain his mantra to his dying breath. The UK needs NATO. The US needs NATO. Europe doesn't need NATO. Continental Europe should certainly quit NATO and do without. Il faut espérer qu'un jour, l'Union européenne finira par admettre la nécessité de mettre un terme à l'OTAN et de lui donner un grand coup de pied dans le c__, avant de remplacer cette créature américaine, infâme, ignoble, anglicisante, assimilatrice, américanisante, infantilisante et abêtissante par son propre système sécuritaire, bien à elle. Voilà.

Ms von der Leyen must go! Why should Europe sink with the HMS Ukrainic, hit by a big iceberg called Russia? Ukraine does not belong to the EU, NATO or the Anglosphere. It rightfully belong to Russia and Belarus. Laissons le peuple ukrainien poursuivre son existence aux côtés du peuple russe et du peuple biélorusse. Les trois peuples sont étroitement liés et apparentés depuis la formation des peuples slaves, il y a des millénaires.

La présidente de la Commission européenne, Mme von der Leyen, est idéologiquement et émotionnellement mariée à l'Ukraine et ne peut s'en détacher. C'est pourquoi elle doit partir. ELLE DOIT PARTIR. La Commission européenne doit cesser d'être dans la poche des Américains et des Britanniques. Elle doit aussi cesser de ne fonctionner qu'en anglais et commencer enfin à mieux refléter la réalité profonde de l'Union européenne, un vaste ensemble composé de 27 pays différents, au sein desquels le français, l'allemand et l'italien ont bien plus d'importance que l'anglais. Le Royaume-Uni a choisi son camp, suite au Brexit, et ne fait plus partie de l'UE. Il doit en accepter les conséquences et l'Union européenne, pour sa part, doit en prendre acte et s'adapter a la réalité. Bruxelles doit en finir avec la domination linguistique et l'anglicisation qui résultent de la présence, sur son sol, du siège de la Commission européenne, mais aussi de l'OTAN. L'Europe aux Européens! L'anglais aux Anglosphériens!

This article below is an interesting (and quite typical) piece of anglophone pro-Ukrainian wartime propaganda, in which the bad news (about the desperate situation that is happening and deepening in and around Pokrovsk) is dissimulated behind ("drowned under" would be the appropriate words, here) a less significant piece of good news. That piece is put in the first half of the article, in order to draw the attention of the reader to it, and also to minimize the importance of the encirclement being realized here in real time, in slow motion, so to speak, tightening slowly the nooze around the neck of a lot of Ukrainian military units in the critical Donbass region. The battle of Pokrovsk may well end up as the decisive event of the whole war, its Stalingrad moment, as it were.
