DEAR BRITISH EMPIRE
Dear British Empire,
I hope that you're well. As for us, in Canada, things are O.K., despite the Covid-19.
We're still bickering among ourselves, as usual, uncertain as we are about the future of this vast and cold land and our place in it. Do you mind, by the way, if we rethink our arrangements with you, in the coming future, in order to better treat the first inhabitants of this place were you barged in, a quarter of a millenia ago? I mean by the words "the first inhabitants" the people of New-France and also the First Nations that lived in this place, their lands, since quite a long time. Maybe it's time to reform this Canada from top to bottom, beginning with the queen that served as the titular head of the British kingdom of Canada, down to the villages, towns and cities. Why not renew everything, all the political structures of what remains (in this day and age!) a kingdom?
What do you think about it?
Bye for now, British Empire.
Sleep well. Talk to you later.
You're subjects, the people of Canada
