HOW TO SINK CARRIERS
(First published earlier today, on Linked In.) This article, below, published by the South China Morning Post, gave an impressive depiction of the techniques of dealing with the threats of carriers, that seemed to be envisioned by Beijing in the case of a military conflict with the United States. The article implied that even the U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, do not think much of the chances of survival of those ships in an actual war against the Chinese military forces. Hegseth was possibly thinking about groups of Chinese submarines creeping up to all the carriers operated by the US Navy, in a planned and coordinated fashion, with the aim of removing them them quickly from the oceanic Go board, in one, fast, and fatal blow.
