DIFFERENT PATHS FOR MANDARIN AND ENGLISH?

 



According to The Economist, things are going from bad to worse for Mandarin these days.

Inspired by the memory of Carnac-The-Magnificent, the North American Nostradamus, from the great city of Gatineau-sur-Outaouais, hereby predict, as of now, the beginning of the slow and gradual decrease in the teaching of the English language outside the oh so many countries making up the Anglosphere, and, also and alternatively, the beginning of the slow and gradual increase in the teaching of Mandarin outside the two half-countries and the one City-State making up the Sinosphere.

Gaïa, hear thy servant, and make it so...
